Four George Crosses

The George Cross is awarded for ‘Acts of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger.’

These are four of the five George Crosses awarded to Hong Kong recipients, the fifth being John Fraser, MC and Bar. (see 2c Anderson Report)
